How is fit calculated?
We start from the eight baseline weights, add or subtract per answer, normalise, then apply a price penalty and an evidence-grade adjustment. Fit only ranks this shortlist; it is not the composite score.
Why does “on-prem required” shrink the list?
Only models with open weights or an on-prem licence survive. A better closed API cannot satisfy the deployment constraint, so it is filtered out.
Can I use the result for procurement?
No. The tool covers capability and price only — not SLAs, compliance, data isolation, delivery partners or contracts. Treat it as a PoC shortlist.
